Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has worked with Southwest Neighborhoods, Inc. (SWNI) to identify and select sidewalk projects to build with funds committed by Mayor Adams for sidewalk infill on arterials. PBOT will advance $8 Million in projects to be designed and built in 2012, including all SWNI Tier 2 sidewalk priority needs. Come learn more and provide feedback.

Environmental Services is replacing the 50-year-old Burlingame Trunk Sewer in SW Multnomah Boulevard between SW 31st and Interstate 5 with a larger diameter pipe. Construction will close Interstate 5 ramps to and from Multnomah Boulevard for 45 days of the project timeline. Multnomah Boulevard will remain open during construction. The SWNI Transportation Committee meets the third Monday of every month, except January and February, in which it meets the 3rd Wednesday due to MLK and Presidents Day holidays.
