Free concert by the Oregon Symphonic Band at Jackson Middle School

You are cordially invited to a free concert performed by the Oregon Symphonic Band.Saturday, Feb. 2, 7:30 pm at Jackson Middle SchoolOur featured soloist will be Fred Sautter, retired prinicpal trumpet with the Oregon Symphony. Mr. Sautter will perform the "Rose Variations" by Robert Russell Bennett. Other music selections will be a medley of tunes from "The Wizard of Oz", "Washington Grays March" and the familiar "Wedding March" from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream by Felix Mendelssohn.

Safari 3 web browser now available for Windows and Mac Tiger users
The Safari 3 web browser is now available for Windows XP and Vista users, as well as Mac OS X Tiger. It runs twice as fast as Internet Explorer (IE), and includes an integrated RSS feed client. RSS feeds are a great way to know when new content is posted to the SWNI website, so you can easily remain current on local neighborhood issues.
