SW Hope: Feed the Hungry 2009

What is the need?
The number of families seeking food assistance in Southwest Portland has greatly increased this past year. In 2007, Neighborhood House, our local community service organization, distributed boxes of food to 230 to 280 families a month, feeding approximately 800 individuals. In the fall of 2008 and into the winter of 2009, food boxes have been distributed to 400 - 420 families, feeding up to 1,300 individuals.

Wilson High Fundraiser at Pizzicato Pizza

Our mission is to empower citizen action to improve and maintain the livability of southwest neighborhoods.
