DEVELOPER PRESENTATION
SFA staff, Paul Seilo stated that SFA had departed the May meeting with the impression that all issues had been satisfactorily resolved and that receiving notice of the ANA appeal was a shock. Jack explained that later in that meeting the neighbors felt that the issue of the "private street had not been resolved, therefore the appeal was filed. Subsequent debate brought issues that preceeded the appeal to the table, and open discussion was successful in bringing a motion to the floor: SFI agrees to move the "private street" to the north side of the property with no access easement for future homes; seconded . Amendment : ( with access easement for future homes ); seconded. Amendment passed, 8 in favor, 4 opposed. Reworded motion passed, 10 in favor, 2 abstentions. Three SFI staff voted in favor, to show their support.
TREASURER'S Report: Balance $175.53.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
LAND USE: Jack requested that David and Mary Bird share their concerns and action regarding a land division at SW 57th and Pasedena.
They have objected to a double density corner lot on the grounds that it does not meet "corner" code. It was agreed that ANA would provide a letter of support for them, stating that we are very concerned about the double density corner lots, asking for definitions of "streets"; alleys, public rights of way, private streets, etc.
PARKS: Ester McGinnis increased last meeting's good news with the addition of Custer Park to the drop in summer program and added that teens who are sixteen may apply for several 20 hour a week jobs in the program and over 18s may apply for 40 hour per week work , from June 21 to August 18.
