Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast (Key Bank parking lot) 8:30 – 11 am. Parade 9:45 am. · New! “Head of the Pack Dog Parade” starting at 9:45 am. This year they will not be the tail-end … all those wet noses will lead the parade. Costumes encouraged! All dog entrants should meet at Handy Andy’s at 9:30 am to be ready to lead the parade. · The world-famous Get A Life Marching Band, Multnomah Village’s favorite marching band, will be returning. · Those interested in being in the parade should contact Joan Steinbach 503-245-3936 or multnomahparade@gmail.com to register for the parade or for additional details. (Dogs and their owners need not register.) Parade Grand Marshall is Randy Bonella: Randy is a super guy and a great asset to the neighborhood. He is President of Multnomah Neighborhood Association and played a leading role in getting Multnomah Park created and maintained. Mural Painting in the Multnomah Arts Center (11 am – 3 pm) · Get in touch with your inner-artist and help create a fantastic 175 foot mural project. Annual Pottery Sale Kid Zone – (Multnomah Center’s basketball court) 11 am – 4 pm · Free bouncy house courtesy of SW Community Center · Lots of “hands on” and fun activities for young children Police “Hands On Crime Fighting Activities” – including horses and dogs! Over 100 Vendor booths—lots of food, crafts, community info and fun items! Plan on staying for lunch and listening to music while you eat. Voodoo donuts pink van will be there! Entertainment & Street Music 11:30 am – 4:30 pm. Main Stage (SW 35th and Capitol Hwy) · Surf music featuring The Steve Bradley Band with Scott Cronin Lots of musicians in the streets throughout the day.
